UGH we just read this article. I kept looking for a comment section so I could REAM someone. LOL. Why do humans think they are so above and so much superior to animals? I hope that couple come back in their next life as squirrels.

You are absolutely right, Lola - nothing in that article could be construed as “humane.” Gus and Betsy are thumping their disapproval as well.

I agree! For an insulting headline, there was luckily no documented cases in that story. So that also brings out an inappropriate headline and photo selection on the part of the copy desk.

That was not even slightly humorous .. simply cruel and mean hearted. Besides those birds are protected and killing them is illegal. Wild animals belong to all of us and killing one requires proper authorization.

We’ve complained to the New Yorker magazine about inappropriate animal cartoons some, possibly the National Humane Society will take care of this one!
