I haven’t really started to chew anything yet. I usually leave the peeled willow for last (like my snowman). Mom got me a large willow cube out of unpeeled willow and I’ve started to nibble on that though. Then on Christmas she hung up this star…. isn’t it late for decorations?
Oh BTW, do you see the lovely mat I am sitting on? It’s far better than the phone book mom put there for me to shred. I showed her how much I disapproved of the phone book by peeing on it.
Did everybunny get what they wanted for Christmas?
I got a wicker snowman!
Only famous individuals get their pictures in the Daily News.
I know Christmas is about giving and sharing love, so I figured maybe I would share the love to my humans. I wrote to the (NY) Daily News and sent them a greeting card with me on it (and I used my stamp too!). Inside, I asked for them to please put me on the special holiday Critter’s Page for my humans to see.
And guess what! They did!
Mom made a gingerbread house fashioned after me!
This is my fabulous condo. Mom got it for me for my first birthday from Leith Petworks. The cage–ahem–house I used to live in was originally from Petco and I got to be too big for it! There used to be a little ledge in it that I would try to sit on and I couldn’t get up there anymore without hitting my head on the ceiling! So mom splurged and said my cafe press store could help pay it off. So far I’ve paid off $11. Hehehe! Good thing I have mom wrapped around my paw! I think the little cage can be used for a baby sister or brother in the future… we’ll see!
I don’t want to come out of my house.
I heard a big, bad vacuum cleaner lurks outside. Yesterday he came and took away the lovely mess I created in my room.
I think I’ll stay in here. I’m only available for pets inside my home, thank you very much!
Today was so snowy that no one wanted to go outside.
Everyone took bunny naps in the early afternoon. But then mom vaccumed my room. After that disturbance, I got back to some much-needed beauty rest.
I’m a bit late with my wish list for Santa, given the late-night plottings I’ve been holding. (It’s a true shame that my plans were foiled! Who knew a thing called UPS existed! Why isn’t there a mailbox set up for him? Then I could have been waiting in there instead!)
After stewing all day and night in my cage, I’m over it. I’ve decided to go with the flow, as you suggested. I did a few good laps around the apartment this morning to work off some steam, and I feel much more relaxed now. Perhaps Santa will be extra kind to me this year to make the situation better!
So, for Christmas, my list is pretty much sticking to the Busy Bunny Web site. I’m asking for their 2007 Holiday Basket, their Deluxe Basket, an Unpeeled Willow Cube and an Unpeeled Willow (Medium) Ball. That way I’ll have plenty to chew into the new year. I also asked for the “limited edition” DKM greeting card, because, if I have to use those blasted stamps, I might as well have pretty cards to go with them!
Apparently Miss Lola thought those postage stamps were coming via USPS. When we went to check the mail today, look who was hiding inside!
Unfortunately for Lola– but lucky for us–the UPS man brought our stamps today!
Lola is sulking, but we’ve already sent out 26 greeting cards!
I’m still not sure how a rabbit could get into our mailbox. Hmmmm. ~Jen
